About This Project

Vale of Glamorgan Council

Part of the Welsh Government’s Rural Community Development Programme and delivered through the Vale of Glamorgan Council (VoGC), Paws in the Vale’s main focus was to encourage local businesses to adopt a dog friendly approach (with the aim of creating new opportunities for income generation) and to promote dog suitable walks and days out to the public.

We worked on the project from inception right through to delivery designing a logo and entire brand strategy package. The project was designed to run across social media and digital platforms with a physical presence in the form of sticker version of the final logo that premises would display as a visual indicator that they welcomed dogs.

We shot a video to accompany the materials. The video, shot largely from the dogs perspective, incorporated sweeping shots of the local landscape as well as close ups of local businesses to draw people’s attention to the beautiful and varied attractions the Vale has to offer.
